Go with Bimini Twist Charters for the Best Day on the Water! We were so lucky Captain Stacy had a opening for us this week! He was so knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife. We saw Ospreys, White Pelicans, A Bald Eagle, Iguana, and Dolphins, just to name a few. Shelling was was amazing. Viewing the dome houses up close and Stacy sharing the story of the construction and demise of the homes was fascinating. We had the best afternoon with him! Next trip we want to go fishing!

Eco Tour with Captain Dan Our group of 4 had a great morning on the water with Captain Dan. Did some shelling, visited the Dome Home, learned about southwest Florida birds and mangroves...and enjoyed the antics of some frisky dolphins. Departed from Goodland.

Awesome guide - Capt Dan Captain Dan was an awesome guide. He was well versed in the animal life and flora and fauna of the area. He must have telephoto vision because he could pick out the smallest detail and find wildlife well before any of us saw it. We were a group of 5, all adults. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Eco Tour was everything promised My wife and I and our adult son took a Bimini Twist Eco Tour two days after my son and I had taken a fishing charter with Capt. Stacey Mullendore. We have been coming to Marco for a week’s vacation every 2 - 3 years since the mid-1990’s and we book our fishing charters with Stacey every time we’re here. Those trips are always one of the highlights of our stay. This year, he told us about the Eco Tours that he and his wife had started about a year ago. My son and I had always told my wife about how enjoyable our fishing trips are, but she has no interest in fishing. However as a retired teacher she has always been fascinated by local history, science, geography, etc. She was very familiar with the dome home of Cape Romano since the first guided fishing trip my son and I took, when the home was still partly on the beach and we came home and told her about it and she started researching it on line. She also has a keen interest in nature, so dolphins and manatees are always on her radar when we are renting a home on a canal during our visit. When Stacey told my son and me about his Eco Tour, we knew we had to schedule a trip so my wife could get out and experience everything we see in and around the mangrove islands when fishing, PLUS see the dome home. We booked a private trip. Stacey chose the smaller of his two boats, which was perfect for us. The seating was comfortable and, unlike on our fishing trips, there is a canopy that provides shade which was very nice. As we headed out, Stacey provided some history of the area and answered the first of my wife’s barrage of questions (remember that she was a teacher). He also pointed out some Ospreys and we saw a couple of Tarpon roll. We got to Cape Romano and the dome home, which my wife thoroughly enjoyed seeing for the first time. My son and I were amazed at how far the home is now from shore since the last time we saw it, which is due to the constant erosion of that side of the island. Next we went to a secluded beach where my wife and son collected shells, and I tried fishing in the surf (alas, no luck!). Heading back in, we came upon a lone dolphin swimming by. Stacey circled back so we could watch and follow for a while and the next thing we came upon was a pair of manatees which we watched for some time while Stacey filled us in on their habits and habitat. It was good to hear that they are making a comeback and have recently been moved from an endangered species to a treatened species (like moving from DEFCON 2 down to DEFCON 3). Next, he took us to see a pair of beautiful Roseate Spoonbills roosting in some trees. That ended a very successful and enjoyable tour. So, if you like to learn about nature, the history of the area, and want to see the unique dome home, I highly recommend this trip. Although we were able to see dolphin and manatees, I’m sure that’s not something Stacey can guarantee will happen every time - but he will make every effort to put you in locations where the odds are higher that you will see them.

10000 Island tour Captain Stacey was an awesome guide! He is a native of the area and knew all the perfect spots to see dolphins, manatees, and birds! The private island shell collecting was a special part of the tour. Hope to go back and have a future tour with him.

Great day on the water! We met at the boat dock and boarded the boat. It was a smaller boat and very nice gave more of a personal feel. There was seating for at least six and that’s how many were on the boat plus the captain. It was very comfortable the water was very calm. Our captain was very informative and and pointed out a lot of birds and bird nest’s and told us interesting information about the area. He found us the dolphins and positioned the boat so the dolphins could dive out of the water in our wake. We went down to the dome houses and he told us the history of them which was very interesting. We also went To a great beach area to go shelling. I got some of the best shells I have ever seen! We will definitely book this company again. The captain was very informative and professional and a very clean boat.

Exceptional tour! We took the eco tour and had a blast! We saw dolphins and manatees and the dome house and went shelling on an island only accessible by boat! Captain Stacy was amazing! He shared so much information about the area and showed pictures. He helped us identify a variety of birds and shells too! His knowledge and enthusiasm for what he does is outstanding! Our afternoon with him was the best of our trip!
